I'm your unique fashion lover + personal style enthusiast turned professional and hope you can gain a little insight + inspiration.
A few details: I love being creative and utilizing my skill set to better those around me. I've always had a passion for branding and have witnessed the power of building an image from the ground up. These things reflect in everything that I do as I connect with clients and take on new projects.
A few more specifics: I'm Liberian-American, a Tar Heel and currently working full-time as a Fashion Coordinator with Belk, Inc. headquarters in Charlotte, NC.
Passion Project: I recently created a podcast (which I co-host with my amazing cousin/friend Skye) called 1stGens, which is about being a first-generation American and filling in the blanks beside the hyphen. Skye and I share our experiences as Liberian-Americans and always correlate with a different 1stGen, revealing that being a local citizen is not always so black and white.
I'm a huge advocate for recognizing who you are and gaining empowerment--whether for your own personal branding or for your business.
I have a bachelor's in Communication Studies & Broadcast Journalism [The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill] + my master's in Luxury & Fashion Management [Savannah College of Art and Design].
I love everything form luxury to thrifting [the majority of my wardrobe comes from unique finds], eclectic music playlists on Spotify, a plethora of podcasts, Solange Knowles' style, natural hair, colors + fun, original design aesthetics. Artistry comes in a variety of forms: fashion, music, painting, graphic design, words, etc--and I love celebrating it all, while diversifying my skill set.
Make sure to reach out, connect and say hi!
